About the Route: The
synagogue, called "Or Torah,” was built in the 1950s by immigrants from Tunisia
and is one of the most beautiful synagogues in the world. It features more than
140 spectacular stained-glass windows, as well as colorful mosaic based on stones
taken from various regions in Israel, from the Golan Heights in the North, and
down to Eilat.
